Football Recap: Kimball Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Kimball won the last time they faced Golden Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Jaguars blew past the Cougars 41-19. Winning may never get old, but the Jaguars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kimball's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Richard Sandoval led the charge by throwing for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes. Apollo Flores also helped with two TDs in total.

Kimball didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Yuvraj Balagan, Dawson Pelech, and Flores picked up one apiece. Balagan got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Kimball's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Golden Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Kimball wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 48-34 defeat against Analy on the 26th. As for Golden Valley, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Merced at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
