Basketball Recap: Holy Trinity Comes Up Short at Home Against Floral Park Memorial

Holy Trinity unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Floral Park Memorial Knights 57-29 on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Despite the loss, Holy Trinity still got an impressive performance from Sariah Reed, who posted 20 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Looking ahead, Holy Trinity will be playing at home against Valley Stream Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Floral Park Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
