Basketball Game Preview: Berry Cardinals vs. West Charlotte Lions + How To Watch

The Berry Cardinals will square off against the West Charlotte Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Berry didn't have too much trouble with Ashbrook as they won 50-36.

Among those leading the charge was Chris Meriweather, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds. D'Mauri Carthorne was another key player, putting up six points along with six boards and four steals.

Berry was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, West Charlotte put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Walkertown by a score of 69-59.

West Charlotte found their leader in sophomore Kaharri Coleman, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds. Coleman is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jkhai Wade, who shot 88% from the field en route to 14 points and five boards.

The win got Berry back to even at 1-1. As for West Charlotte, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Berry skirted past West Charlotte 49-47 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
