Basketball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

If Cascade was riding high fresh off their 48-16 takedown of Horseshoe Bend last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cascade Ramblers received a blow on Friday as they fell 49-31 to the Council Lumberjacks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ramblers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-23 back in December of 2024.

Cascade now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Council, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Cascade will square off against Greenleaf Friends Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Council does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
