Softball Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the St. Clair County Fighting Saints. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Fighting Saints this season, with their most recent defeat being a 21-7 loss two weeks ago.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 26-21-1. As for St. Clair County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-13-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Lincoln nor St. Clair County have any future games scheduled.
