Baseball Recap: Onalaska Comes Up Short

Onalaska managed to slip by Reedsburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hilltoppers lost 11-1 to the Beavers on Friday.

Ian Kowal was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Keaton Dahl also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Onalaska's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Reedsburg, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Onalaska will welcome Sparta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Reedsburg, they will be playing at home against McFarland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
