After a string of three wins, West Las Vegas's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt an 81-46 loss at the hands of the Robertson Cardinals. The matchup marked the Dons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Robertson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nathan Gonzales, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brian Lucero, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points along with seven boards and four steals.

West Las Vegas' defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Robertson, their victory was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Las Vegas will head out to challenge St. Michael's at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in St. Michael's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games. As for Robertson, they are taking a road trip to face off against Academy for Technology and The Classics at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
