Volleyball Recap: Prospect's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Prospect came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Leyden Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

Luke Cook paced Prospect's offense, picking up 11 kills. Cook got some help from Ryan Cook and his 23 assists. Finally, Brendan Ziegenhorn kept Prospect's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Prospect's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Leyden, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Prospect wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Zion-Benton on the 2nd. As for Leyden, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Deerfield on the 2nd.
