Volleyball Recap: ALA - Ironwood Comes Up Short

ALA - Ironwood saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Desert Edge Scorpions.

Anastyn Lee paced ALA - Ironwood's offense, picking up five kills. Lee were helped by Paisley Blair and Ava Schott, who contributed six assists each. Emilee Rodriguez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

ALA - Ironwood now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Desert Edge, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ALA - Ironwood will face off against Arete Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Desert Edge, they will be playing at home against North at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
