Soccer Recap: Jefferson Academy Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Jefferson Academy after they claimed the first goal on Saturday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Lutheran Lions by a score of 2-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 5, 2018, but that streak is no more.

Jefferson Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lutheran, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Jefferson Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 9-1 win against Denver Christian on the 1st. As for Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Mullen on the 1st.
