Football Recap: Hallsville Takes a Loss

Hallsville's last matchup with Boonville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Indians took a blow against the Pirates, falling 42-12. The Indians just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Hallsville lost, don't look at Landon Cunningham. Despite the final result, he threw for 243 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 57 yards and one TD.

Alex McDonald went supernova For Boonville., rushing for 245 yards and three scores while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. Those 245 rushing yards gave McDonald a new career-high. Tatum Hough helped out on the ground, rushing for 81 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Hallsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Boonville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
