Dirk Williams Jr. had a dynamite game for Sachse, throwing for 312 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 33 yards. A healthy portion of that aerial production (112 yards to be exact) went to Kaliq Lockett, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Sachse was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 324 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2023.
The victory (which was Sachse's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. As for North Garland, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing South Garland the next time they take the field. North Garland will head out to face South Garland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Sachse will host them at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
