It was a good run, but Clarksville unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They lost 13-5 to the Henry County Patriots. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clarksville fell to 2-1. As for Henry County, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Clarksville Wildcats take on Dickson County Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Dickson County's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Clarksville's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Henry County, they will face off against Lexington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
