Emerald had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 9-13 to make it four. They fell 10-7 to the Westside Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 on Monday.

Emerald saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Swancey, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI. Aaron Polly was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
