Volleyball Game Preview: Big Walnut Golden Eagles vs. Hayes Pacers

The Big Walnut Golden Eagles will challenge the Hayes Pacers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hayes took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Big Walnut, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Big Walnut was able to grind out a solid victory over Reynoldsburg, taking the game 3-1.

The win didn't come easy: Reynoldsburg scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 26-24, 22-25, 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Hayes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Dublin Scioto, falling 3-0.

Hayes was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-22, 25-20.

Big Walnut's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Hayes, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went Big Walnut's way against Hayes in their previous meeting back in March, as Big Walnut made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Pacers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
