Baseball Game Preview: St. Michael the Archangel Guardians vs. Summit Christian Academy Eagles

For the second straight game, St. Michael the Archangel will face off against Summit Christian Academy. The Guardians are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

St. Michael the Archangel will head out to face Summit Christian Academy after giving up their first home loss of the season on Monday. The Guardians took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Parker Bushyhead was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Colston Lyon was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Maverick Cure, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

The win snapped Summit Christian Academy's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 23-4 record. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.
