Football Recap: Castleford Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Castleford was feeling good fresh off their 58-14 takedown of Rimrock last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves were beaten by the Carey Panthers 58-18 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Riggin Keetch threw for 65 yards and one touchdown. Ethan Dearden was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards and one score.

Stockton Sears was nothing short of spectacular for Carey: he rushed for 374 yards and six TDs on only 13 carries. Those 374 rushing yards gave Sears a new career-high. Will Parke helped out on the ground, rushing for 101 yards.

Castleford's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Carey, the win (which was their 13th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.
