They were beaten by Lago Vista 77-8. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1462nd, while the Vikings are ranked 689th).

LBJ Austin's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-11. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.3 points per game. As for Northeast Early College, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for LBJ Austin against Northeast Early College in their previous matchup on January 7th, as the squad secured a 59-18 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for LBJ Austin since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
