John Battle and Lebanon are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Trojans lost 61-38 to the Rebels. The Trojans have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Loss or not, John Battle got some senior leadership from Caden Sturgill and Marshall Green. Sturgill threw for 216 yards and three TDs, while Green rushed for 92 yards and one score on only 12 carries.

Meanwhile, Lebanon put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Richlands 42-21. With the Pioneers ahead 35-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Lebanon's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for John Battle, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

John Battle took a serious blow against Lebanon when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 42-7. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Trojans were down 35-0.
