Poudre came tearing into Saturday's game with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vail Christian Saints.
Geo Schwalm paced Poudre's offense, picking up seven kills. Schwalm got some help from Chais Soderberg and his 15 assists. Miki Mijiddorj controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Poudre's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Vail Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Coincidentally, Poudre and Vail Christian will both be playing Arvada West the next time they take the court. The Impalas will head out to face the Wildcats at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Saints will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
