Baseball Recap: Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Summit Charter Collegiate Academy's offense. They came up short against the Parlier Panthers on Saturday, falling 7-0. The Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2017.

Summit Charter Collegiate Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mike Gonzalez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one double. Valentin Sierra was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Summit Charter Collegiate Academy now has a losing record of 0-1-1.

Coincidentally, Summit Charter Collegiate Academy and Parlier will both be playing Orosi the next time they take the field. Summit Charter Collegiate Academy will head out to face Orosi at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Parlier will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
