The Tulare Western Mustangs will challenge the Lemoore Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tulare Western is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Tulare Western saw some tournament action on Monday. They lost 11-5 to Shafter. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alivea Salcedo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Lemoore didn't have quite enough to beat Atascadero on Tuesday and fell 8-7.

Lemoore's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-15-1. As for Tulare Western, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5-1.

Tulare Western took their victory against Lemoore in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
