Basketball Recap: Sprague Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

Sprague won the last time they faced South Eugene and things went their way on Friday too. The Sprague Olympians took down the South Eugene Axe 66-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Olympians.

Sprague pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points per game. As for South Eugene, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sprague will challenge Clackamas at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sprague has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for South Eugene, they will face off against Glencoe at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Glencoe is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.7 points per game this season.
