Softball Recap: Stevens' Undefeated Season over After 13 Games

Stevens has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.85 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came up short against the Jefferson Cavaliers, falling 14-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, Stevens fell to 12-1. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Stevens has already played their next game, an 11-2 loss against Lincoln on the 17th. As for Jefferson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Spearfish on the 17th.
