The largest high school basketball gym in the nation hosted one of biggest games of the season Thursday night and the matchup delivered as Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) knocked off Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) 83-77.

Sierra Canyon (6-0) entered ranked No. 1 in MaxPreps.com's High School Top 25 while Oak Hill Academy (13-1) was No. 2 in the Independent Top 10 and winners of 56 in a row.

The New Castle Fieldhouse in Indiana hosted the two national powers in a game broadcast by ESPN2.

The No. 1 junior prospect in the country led the way for Sierra Canyon as 6-foot-10 Marvin Bagley III went for 28 points. Arizona State-bound point guard Remy Martin added 22 and UCLA-bound forward Cody Riley chipped in 16.

Riley, a powerful 6-8 forward, hit four big free throws down the stretch to help the Trailblazers put things away.

Lindell Wigginton paced Oak Hill Academy with 21 points. The Warriors led by six after the first quarter but gave up 29 points in the second and found themselves in a 42-38 hole at the half.

Oak Hill Academy's last loss came Nov. 15, 2015 against 22ft Academy (Greenville, S.C.). The Virginia school had knocked off Sierra Canyon each of the past two seasons.

Earlier in the evening at the storied venue, Independent Top 10 No. 1 La Lumiere (LaPorte, Ind.) dominated High School Top 25 No. 25 New Albany (Ind.) 85-63.
