Flanagan extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Nova. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Titans, sneaking past 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since March 18th.

Jose Mercano was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Miguel Colmenares was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Carter Roberts, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run.

Flanagan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Flanagan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Nova, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.

As of now, neither Flanagan nor the Titans have any future games scheduled.
