Volleyball Recap: Campbell County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Campbell County took on Oak Ridge on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-7, 25-16.

Campbell County's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Oak Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-17 record this season.

Campbell County and Oak Ridge could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Cougars will challenge Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (284 vs. 91). Meanwhile, Oak Ridge (ranked 200th) will meet Farragut (ranked 59th) at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
