Volleyball Preview: Wisner-Pilger Gators vs. Tekamah-Herman Tigers        
        
		
             Wisner-Pilger has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will head out to  take on the Tekamah-Herman Tigers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The last three games Wisner-Pilger has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
 Last Thursday, Wisner-Pilger didn't have quite enough to beat Guardian Angels Central Catholic and fell  2-1. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Bluejays: they've now lost four in a row.
 Wisner-Pilger started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-22,  25-18.
 Wisner-Pilger's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Hannah Grenier, who  had ten  digs, and  Ramsey Arduser, who  had three  digs and two  aces.
 Meanwhile, Tekamah-Herman was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They lost  3-0 to North Bend Central.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11,  25-17.
 Wisner-Pilger's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Tekamah-Herman, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.
 Everything went Wisner-Pilger's way against Tekamah-Herman in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023, as Wisner-Pilger made off with  a  3-0 win. Will Wisner-Pilger repeat their success,  or does  Tekamah-Herman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
