Softball Recap: Valley Regional Falls Short of East Catholic in the Playoffs

Valley Regional and East Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Valley Regional had to settle for second. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Amelia Giantonio made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Valley Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for East Catholic, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

As of now, neither Valley Regional nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
