Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ore City). They blew past the Big Sandy Wildcats 31-0 on Thursday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Rebels just coasted through the last quarter.

The victory made it two in a row for Ore City and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 16 points in those games. As for Big Sandy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ore City is set to take on their familiar foe Waskom at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. Meanwhile, Big Sandy will square off against rival Harleton at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
