Proctor owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Aitkin Gobblers as they made off with a 6-0 win. Considering the Rails have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Proctor has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Aitkin, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Proctor will venture away from home to challenge Warroad at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Aitkin, they will challenge Pine City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
