Baseball Game Preview: Passaic Indians vs. Kennedy Knights

For the second straight game, Passaic will face off against Kennedy. The Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Passaic will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against Kennedy on Monday. The Indians were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Knights. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.

Manny Quezada spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

At the plate, Franklin Pena was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Passaic: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-8-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Randis Rosario, who went 1-for-3 with five stolen bases and two runs.

Kennedy dropped their record down to 2-15 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Passaic, their win bumped their record up to 8-9-1.
