Basketball Recap: Fort Madison Beats Mt. Pleasant for Their Third Straight Win

Fort Madison had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Mt. Pleasant Panthers 42-22. That's two games straight that the Bloodhounds have won by exactly 20 points.

Fort Madison has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Mt. Pleasant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Fort Madison will be playing at home against Notre Dame at 11:30 a.m. on February 1st. As for Mt. Pleasant, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-30 loss against Mid-Prairie on the 27th.
