Moriarty has no trouble against Legacy Academy

On Thursday, Moriarty strolled past Legacy Academy with points to spare, taking the game 73-54. The win made it back-to-back wins for Moriarty.

Moriarty got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Brown out in front who scored 25 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which Brown has scored at least 25% of Moriarty's points. Aidyn Pacheco was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Legacy Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaevion Scales. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Bryant Scales , who scored 14 points.

The win got Moriarty back to even at 2-2. As for Legacy Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moriarty will take on Rio Grande at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rio Grande is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Legacy Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Logan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Logan is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
