Baseball Game Preview: Russellville Golden Tigers vs. Arab Knights

For the second straight game, Russellville will face off against Arab. The Golden Tigers will square off against the Knights at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Russellville has three straight victories, Arab has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Russellville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Arab get on the board and left with a 5-0 win.

The result came thanks to Ty Engelthaler's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Brayden Hatton was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennon Thorpe, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Arab's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Russellville, their victory bumped their record up to 23-10.
