Basketball Recap: Jamaica Comes Up Short

Jamaica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 44-25 fall against the John Adams Spartans. The contest marked the Beavers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Jamaica's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for John Adams, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jamaica will venture away from home to face off against Lane at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jamaica is facing Lane at the right time seeing as Lane is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for John Adams, they will head out to square off against Campus Magnet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Campus Magnet will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something John Adams surely won't give up without a fight.
