Basketball Recap: Brooklane Baptist Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Brooklane Baptist waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 85-69 victory over the Victory Christian Academy Eagles. Brooklane Baptist pushed the score to 69-46 by the end of the third, a deficit Victory Christian Academy cut but never quite recovered from.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Wyatt Bowman, who went 7 of 16 to rack up 18 points and eight boards. That's the most points Bowman has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Myrick, who put up 20 points and five rebounds.
