Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Central walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 56-29 win over the Bloomfield Cardinals. The Thunderbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 24 points or more this season.

North Central had a senior duo take command as Shelby Seay went 8-for-14 to rack up 26 points in addition to six boards and six steals and Jalyn Davidson posted 18 points along with seven assists and five steals. Davidson is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

North Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bloomfield only posted three assists.

Lani Graves and Adalyn Figg certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Graves put up ten points and six rebounds, while Figg scored eight points in addition to five boards and three steals. That's the most points Graves has posted since back in November of 2024.

North Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for Bloomfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-19.

North Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-34 victory against Shakamak on the 7th. Bloomfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
