There's no place like home for Tucker County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They took down the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs 58-40 on Thursday. The Mountain Lions haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Tygarts Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sarah Defibaugh, who posted 11 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Summer Lewis-Smith, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Tucker County's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Tygarts Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Tucker County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 65-55 victory against Petersburg on the 14th. As for Tygarts Valley, they will face off against Harman at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Tygarts Valley is facing Harman at the right time seeing as Harman is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
