Basketball Recap: Kings Christian Makes It Eight in a Row on the Road

Kings Christian had won seven straight road games and Trey Brouwer did his part to make it eight on Friday. The Kings Christian Crusaders blew past the Alpaugh Buffalos 79-31 thanks in part to Brouwer, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Russell Martin, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 14 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last six games he's played.

Kings Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for Alpaugh, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Kings Christian has already played their next contest, a 77-31 victory against Laton on the 4th. As for Alpaugh, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 51-42 loss against Riverdale Christian on the 3rd.
