Football Game Preview: Molalla Indians vs. Cascade Cougars

Molalla is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. They will head out on the road to challenge the Cascade Cougars at 7:00 p.m.

Molalla managed to slip by Astoria the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians came up short against the Fishermen on Friday, falling 28-7.

Meanwhile, Cascade strolled into their game last Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their game with ease, bagging a 35-7 win over Tillamook. Fans of the Cougars have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Molalla's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cascade, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Molalla was taken down by Cascade 46-14 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
