Football Recap: Milton Academy Takes a Loss

Milton Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Buckingham Browne & Nichols, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Knights by a score of 24-22 on Saturday. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Milton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Buckingham Browne & Nichols, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Milton Academy will face off against Belmont Hill at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs will be up against the Sextants' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Buckingham Browne & Nichols, they will challenge St. Sebastian's School at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Arrows' defense has only allowed 12.4 points per game this season, so the Knights' offense will have their work cut out for them.
