Soccer Game Preview: Gregory-Portland vs. Carroll

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Gregory-Portland take on the Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday... Carroll took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Gregory-Portland, who comes in off a win.

Gregory-Portland's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Corpus Christi Moody 12-0. That 12 goal margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Meanwhile, Carroll entered their game against Flour Bluff on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Carroll came up short against Flour Bluff, falling 3-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Gregory-Portland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
