Volleyball Game Preview: Winlock Cardinals vs. Mossyrock Vikings + How To Watch

Winlock is 0-4 against Mossyrock since October of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Cardinals are taking a road trip to square off against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Winlock came up short against Evergreen Lutheran on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Winlock was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Evergreen Lutheran's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Mossyrock lost 3-0 to Rainier on Tuesday.

Mossyrock's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Winlock, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Winlock might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Mossyrock when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
