Basketball Recap: Hubbard Comes Up Short

Hubbard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 73-17 loss at the hands of the Salado Eagles. The match marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hubbard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Salado, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-8.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Hubbard Jaguars take on the Rains Wildcats at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Salado, they will square off against Slocum at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
