Salinas had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They came out on top against the Sequoia Ravens by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Sequoia's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Joslin Fiel, who had 11 digs and two assists, and Karina Kumar, who had four digs. Fiel is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Salinas' victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Sequoia, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.

Salinas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Menlo-Atherton on the 11th. As for Sequoia, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Tamalpais on the 11th.
