Volleyball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was the 2-0 winner over St. Pius X when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Warriors on Saturday.

Greely Simpson paced Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Simpson got some help from Hayden Root and her 15 assists.

Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for St. Pius X, their win bumped their record up to 8-9-1.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Maryville on the 22nd. As for St. Pius X, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Oak Park on the 20th.
