Basketball Recap: Osborne Comes Up Short

Osborne had lost four straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 6-15 to make it five. They had to suffer through a 71-29 loss at the hands of the McEachern Indians. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-4.

Osborne lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mina Ly, who posted 11 points.

As for McEachern, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points over those games.

McEachern was led to victory by PARIS WILSON and ELISA MALONE. WILSON shot 64% from the field on her way to 17 points and three steals, while MALONE went 6-for-9 en route to 16 points. MICHALA BUTLER was another key player, putting up four points along with six assists and six boards.

Osborne has already played their next game, a 64-30 defeat against Paulding County on the 6th. As for McEachern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-18 victory against Harrison on the 6th.
