A-8 East - Central (8 Man) recap Oct. 31, 2012

West Grand was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Pikes Peak Christian. The Mustangs came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.

West Grand extended the longest winning streak in A-8 East - Central (8 Man) this week by beating the Eagles, 54-6. The win marks sixth in a row for the Chris Brown's team.

5-foot-8 quarterback Austin Ellsworth of Vail Christian is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1494. He has also thrown 20 touchdowns. On the ground, Hayden's Mark Doolin has rushed for 1241 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jacob Weece. The South Park star has 38 catches for 680 yards.

The Mustangs took down Pikes Peak Christian 54-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
