Webster and Florence/Henry are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2018, but not for long. The Bearcats will challenge the Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Webster will be strutting in after a victory while Florence/Henry will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when Webster took on Langford on Tuesday. The Bearcats walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lions. The victory continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-9, 21-25, 25-9, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Florence/Henry didn't have quite enough to beat Deuel on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Florence/Henry took Deuel into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 15-9.

Florence/Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Webster, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.

Everything went Webster's way against Florence/Henry in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Webster made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bearcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
